Once upon a time there was a hunter. He hunted everything. He was one of the best hunters in the land. He went hunting almost every day.
	One day he went hunting with a big group. They were fox hunting. They soon came upon a tiny fox. The fox dodged all of the hunters’ shots. The hunters soon found out that the fox was clever too. He made a trap by putting sticks and leaves over a hole that he had dug. All of the hunters fell into it. The fox had outsmarted all of the hunters.
	The next day the hunters went rabbit hunting. They had a little better luck by getting one rabbit. The rabbit’s older brother was furious. When the hunters came by he tripped them and stomped all over them. The furious rabbit had outwitted all of the hunters.
	The next day the hunters wanted something big, so they went lion hunting. They saw a lion soon and tried to shoot, but the lion was too quick for them. He dodged the shots. Then he roared and took a couple steps forward. The hunters ran away screaming. The lion had scared all of the hunters away.
	After the hunter’s three unsuccessful hunts he decided to retire. He never hunted again, and he soon became an old man. He also became good friends with the fox, the rabbit, and the lion.
